Going into it, I expected her dialogue to be basically me in video game form (I am extremely cringey IRL). In particular, gamers were making note of her "cringe dialogue". The game was immediately shot down very harshly and seemingly held to higher standards. I must admit I am slightly confused as to why HiFi Rush can "get away with it" but Forspoken cannot. Very light-hearted, B-movie tier/summer blockbuster dialogue from the both of them. I can agree that the tone seems to be the same in delivery.
